Ever wonder why troubles are so important to our salvation? Maybe you feel like your the ant and God’s got a magnifying glass on a bright sunshiny day? There is not a single Believer who hasn’t felt this pressure before.
Salvation has a cost that is our will. We must sacrifice our will over our lives to accept God’s will for us. When God said He was For You, He meant “in favor of”. God is in Favor of you and I! If that doesn’t get you excited, I don’t know what will!
The Best way to acknowledge this is to realize the truth that God is for us as opposed to being against us. How many times have you thought God was “mad at you”? Sometimes it feels like He is picking on you because you haven’t done something correctly, doesn’t it? However, this goes against His very promise to His people.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 – “The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.”
He may be cleansing you, correcting your mindset, offering you serenity over anxiety, making your life simplier that you think it should be or maybe just working out some “unbelief” in your heart.
Either way, He has assured us that He has intentions to bring good into our lives. He intends to prosper us! But, in order to get to the end of the journey, we must be willing to walk the path.
We must come to the end of our trust in anything but God. We must use it up, spend it useless, prove it weary and forge it burnt before we can truly pick up a torch with a new flame. We simply aren’t able to trust in God and ourselves at the same time!
Hope is not in the things that will be lost but in the things that are yet to come – C. Vallance
We must be convinced of our reliance on God to be the Head of our Lives before He can truly work this life for the good of His will in it. It is when we, “Let Go and Let God”, we find ourselves absolutely freed of the worry and angst we hold onto. Because when we can honestly believe that God has our best interest in mind, no matter what is happening to us, we can rest peacefully in the knowledge that we are safe and sound.
This life brings us treacherous journeys rocky paths and weary days, But God brings Living Water, Bread of Life, Strength, Hope and Love. When God is for us, then who can be against us? Nothing and no one as we read in Romans 8:31.
Today, we must surrender ourselves fully. We must own the recognition that we can’t, but He can! We don’t want to, But He does! And He will provide to us everything we need for His Good Will to be done here on Earth, in our lives, as it is in Heaven.
Be encouraged Saints of God! Today is a Day to Rejoice in our Victory. Let us Praise and Worship with Grateful Hearts that our Almighty God Loves us so much, that He will do only good for us each and everyday.
