Let us not forget the guidance of our Master as we learn His ways here on Earth. For we have all walked in the ways of man, but who of us have walked in the ways of God or can even fathom what those ways should be?
We read in Isaiah, we do not see God’s ways or even have the ability to comprehend them.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD . For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
The destruction of Sin will come by a great fire, we will see sin wrought with man till it comes to the very end of its power and finds in inadequacies overpowering him. The Adamic Nature of Man will not hold his soul forever and it will be by the ways of God that it will be disciplined out of him so far as to bring it to death.
The meaning of the discipline we receive from the Lord is a repetitive exercise of our minds. It is a process in order to build character and self control through trial and tribulations. To bring one thru a hardship time and time again consequently forming a consistent result of the same demeanor of serenity through Faith. The Adamic Nature being traded for The Nature of the Spirit while we are slowly transformed by the Holy Potter. Aren’t they lovely, His ways?
We find ourselves in reproof when we seek the world’s ways instead of our Father’s guidance. We stand corrected but not ashamed. We take this discipline, these corrections, from our Heavenly Father because we bear the Covenants Mark of Grace and receive it as Love instead of shame. This profound process is only a cornerstone of the merciful ways of God. We know He would rather mute the tongue, than have it offend a brother. These ways may seem drastically harsh to mankind. But as we are transformed by the renewing of our minds, we start to see the construction of a principle that stands consistent in Faith.
Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity Than he who is perverse in speech and is a fool.
So let us choose as Believers to acknowledge Him in all that is being established in the Promised Land we live in. Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus so that while the chaff is being shaken from the wheat, we will stand on firm ground with sound minds. And when we are disciplined that we receive it with great Joy and Rejoice! Having Jubilant hearts in Thanks to the Most High God who does good for all those who believe in Him.
Let us seek to fellowship and reflect on the Word, the Gospel, the Good News. Let us tend to our minds through teachings and fellowship to build one another up and form a sound mind in the Body of Christ here on Earth so that His will be done as it is in Heaven. Let us recognize the Spiritual Gifts each one possesses to strengthen and fortify the Body of Christ. And may we always dine together in Spirit, feasting on the Bread of Life and Living Water.
May we pray with discernment without ceasing for one another. May we step boldly past the veil and speak to our Father with great gratitude for what He has prepared for us. And may we bear the Armour of God daily as a testimony of our disciplined ways. Let us always seek the truth, the understanding and the ways of God.
Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.
