9 Reasons to Seek Understanding | Not by my Life, But His

Such incredible words from Abba this early morning. Our Heavenly Father sees EVERYTHING we go through. And without fail He brings us to an understanding of the biggest question we all face with our Adamic Nature; “the why” of our existence. He hears our cries and comes to our aide in our hour of need…

Praise God! He is our Fortress! Our place we can run to for Safety and Peace! Our God Reigns! He wins all the small battles and the war! There is nothing He cannot do! There is a constant Joy in the knowing that we can go to our secret place and ask the Lord for answers, healing and discernment with the matters we worry ourselves with here on Earth. He will ALWAYS be there when we call!

And while these troubles seem great to us, they may become distractions if we allow them to. Our main focus as Believers here on Earth is broken into two parts. Number one, become a testimony of God’s work done in our lives by implementing Faith. And secondly, to share that Good Testimony with anyone and everyone who can hear so as to continue the increase of Faith in the Church Body. For it is by Faith that we receive our Righteousness!

Matthew 6:6. NASV

“But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

It is not in our naturally born bodies to do this… So this my Friends is the Good Fight of Faith! And not that we become so heavenly minded that we are of no earthly good, but instead that we are focused on the apparent Truth that can be revealed through all matters of this life showing once and for all the Good And Finished Work of Christ our Lord.

We find ourselves more often than not seeking to respond though, rather than to understand. As humans, we want to throw Humanity into every equation we come across. But the Truth of the matter is, it’s simply not about us.

I’m sure my son who serves as an Non-Commissioned Officer of the United States Army has been referred to this verse by a pastor once or twice in his almost seven years of service. But hearing it today for the first time brought me revelation beyond my imagination. It told me that we stay the course although we don’t always understand it. We follow the Good Shepherd because He knows what mountain is coming better than I. Be a member of His flock and follow the things He has set upon my heart to follow. This is the Good Fight of Faith. Be ever listening, ever attentive, ever Faithful to our calling so as to serve the God who enlisted us.

2 Timothy 2:4 NASV

No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.

Let us keep from groaning with the afflictions of flesh and our daily strifes of this world. But let us be revived everyday by the Daily Armour of God. To put on our New Selves and Fight the Good Fight of Faith. He will bring revivement, refreshment and a new yearning to His people. But we must remember that this world will bound in wickedness. That not all ears will hear. Not all tongues will confess. Not all will follow while we are here! And the test of our patience will become great as we weigh down our Spirits walking through the dead waters. But for the few, may we stay strong, enlightened, and Spiritually Sound for the day is coming where the Chosen will walk on the Holy Ground we have been called to and we will see the Messiah’s Light forever and ever,

Let us increase our Understanding of God’s ways, His Faithfulness and Love so that we become stewards of the Good News! How great is the Understanding of God! His wisdom endures the mountains of our paths and brings us to valleys of Rest wherein no matter the circumstances of our flesh, we hold steadfast to His Glory.

Reading scripture is in part our avenue to gaining this Knowledge that leads us to this Spiritual understanding of the great Mystery of Christ, but also Prayer and Meditation. The implementation of Faith, the failures we face and victories we win. It is by the Lifestyle of God we magnify our Understanding of God at work in our lives and by Testimony that we share it.

But with great understanding comes great responsibility. We must Speak our Truths and Stand Firm Against the wickedness in the world that comes to weary us constantly. By standing in His Holy Grace, we can be redeemed and justified by our Faith bringing Righteousness and Favor in our Walk with the Abba the Father, the One Holy of Holies.

“For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit.
