The past five years and then this move to Tennessee has been one of the hardest things I’ve gone through in my 46 years; and they have been done very tough years. The death of my mother at 18 was maybe the first… Another time that was difficult was the conception of my First Born son…
These few times were when I felt completely bewildered, lost, forgotten, thrown away, discarded and felt like I had nowhere to go, no one to be and completely hopeless…
But somehow in all the instances, this verse has come up… The Lord is good to continue to remind me that I am special, unique, and particularly cared for in the Kingdom of Heaven!
Luke 12:6-7
6. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
We can get lost in this world so easily! We can lose Hope, find ourselves gritting our teeth to take one more step, be fearful and anxiety stricken… But instead, as Believers, we can also find ourselves safe in the arms of Jesus! We can find ourselves provided for, humbled and yet lifted! God so cares for us, His Children! He puts us above all else in this world!
So, keep looking up to your Heavenly Father! He can see the path ahead, He can help you stand up after the blows of rejection, He can mend hurt hearts, He can heal sickness and injury, He can provide when all else fails!
He Can! He Wants To! & He Will!
